This hanging planter was cast from a wooden haberdasher (hat making) form. I was attracted to its irregular symmetry and forget that it had undercuts, therefore, struggled to make the bowl form. I was imagining a flappers hat as I create this. The red clay is impressed with a stamp created by my former art student Hillary F.
