The Spin Wiper: for perfectly glazed pots!

Custom-fit cover that saves you time:

  • Fits on 13.5" bats for a potter's wheel
  • Creates a clean, professional glaze line
  • Can be used on a static surface or spun on a wheel
  • Simply dampen with water – no wax needed, ever

Materials: Microfiber, polyester, cotton, sponge, and elastic (adjustable for desired tension)

Usage:

  1. Place over the batt, spritz evenly with water. Alternatively, submerge in clean water and wring out until damp.
  2. For tabletop use, simply cover the bat; for wheel use, attach the bat and then cover it with the Spin Wiper.
  3. Avoid oversaturating – excessive water may pool behind the pot. Let it dry naturally if this occurs. Keep the cover just damp for best results.

Cleaning:

  • Light use: Spray with water, wipe, and hang to dry.
  • Heavy use: Submerge, rinse, repeat, wring out gently, and hang to dry.

Care:

  • Ensure the bottom of your pottery is smooth to prolong the Spin Wiper’s life. Rough surfaces will ruin the wiping magic.
  • Hand wash only!  Do not machine wash!

Safety: Dried clay dust is harmful. Avoid patting the dried mat to prevent dust release; always spritz with water before each use.

Note: Glaze materials may gradually wear down the sponge layer, causing slight deflation over time. It’s recommended to designate one Spin Wiper per glaze color to avoid cross-contamination. For instance, use one for white and transparent glazes, another for blues and grays, and a third for iron oxide glazes.

  • Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.

Local Pickup: If you prefer a porch pickup, choose the lowest shipping rate during checkout, email your preference to jacquieblondinceramics@gmail.com, and the shipping cost will be refunded upon pickup.

International Shipping: For inquiries outside Canada and the US, please email with your address and phone number for a custom shipping quote.
