This sculpture of two forms was initially formed as two solids that fit together and were then pulled apart to create a conversational composition. They were hollowed out while still maintaining their overall shapes. Each was then carved to give a directional flow to the forms. Alone each is a strange and awkward shape, but when they fit together, create a satisfying and complete feeling.
