Fractured Duality

Features: They can be assembled in different ways but were intended to fit in a yin yang way.

This sculpture was made from two solid forms the were shaped and prodded to fit together. Once leather hard they were both cut open, cored and reassembled. Both have subtly hammered surfaces that follow the undulating forms. The heat of firings opened the forms to reveal deep fissures that were they filled with contrasting grout.
